Founder’s statement of faith
First and foremost, I want to you to know that it is okay if your beliefs are different than mine. If I had to, I could simplify my Statement of Faith down to four words: “Love God, Love People.” However, as a Christ-follower, it was laid upon my heart to share a more detailed explanation of my beliefs. I believe that Milestone Wealth Management is God-owned and I am blessed to be given the privilege to steward it. This means caring for clients, colleagues and others as well as financially supporting causes. If you have any questions or comments about this Statement of Faith or if you have a prayer request, please reach out to me.
The Scriptures
I believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the written and authoritative Word of God. They are God’s revelation of Himself to humanity, divinely inspired, fully trustworthy, and the final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
Teaching and Interpretation
I believe in preaching and teaching the whole counsel of God’s Word, recognizing that God and Christ are revealed throughout both the Old and New Testaments. Scripture must never be ignored, distorted, or manipulated to support political, social, or personal agendas. All decisions and beliefs should be shaped by the truth of Scripture.
God the Father
I believe in one true God. God the Father is the Creator of all things, the sustainer and preserver of life, and the Redeemer of the world. He is infinite in holiness, perfect in all His ways, and worthy of all worship.
The Trinity
I believe in the Triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three distinct persons who are one in nature, essence, and being.
Jesus Christ
I believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, and taught so that all might know Him. We believe God gave Jesus as a sacrifice for all humanity. Through His atoning death on the cross, He paid for the sins of the world—past, present, and future. He died, descended to the dead, rose again on the third day, and ascended to the Father, where He reigns today.
The Holy Spirit
I believe in the Holy Spirit, promised by Jesus and present with us now. The Spirit draws people into relationship with God through Christ, makes the Scriptures clear, convicts of sin, comforts believers, and empowers them to live holy lives.
Humanity
I believe humanity was created in the image of God and therefore has inherent dignity and worth. Our purpose is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever, living each day in a way that honors Him and delights in His blessings.
Sanctity of Life
I believe all human life is a sacred gift from God. Both the born and the unborn are created in His image. Life begins at conception and should be protected and valued from conception until natural death.
Salvation
I believe salvation is a free gift of God offered to all through Jesus Christ. Redemption is received by personal faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior. There is no salvation apart from Him.
Forgiveness and Repentance
I believe forgiveness of sin is made possible through the sacrifice of Christ on the cross. When we repent, God is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Forgiveness follows genuine repentance.
Grace
I believe grace is the unearned, undeserved, and unending love of God. It is only by God’s grace that we can know Him, be forgiven, and extend forgiveness to others.
Sin and Restoration
I believe sin separates humanity from God, and only through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ can we be restored to right relationship with Him.
Worship and Community
I believe in the importance of worship and the fellowship of the local church. Believers are called to gather, encourage one another, and live in community as the body of Christ.
The Return of Christ
I believe in the future return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal life with God for all who believe.
Heaven and Hell
I believe in the reality of heaven and hell. Heaven is eternal life in the full presence of God; hell is eternal separation from Him.
Final Affirmation
I believe Jesus Christ is to be glorified in all things and that every blessing flows from His goodness and grace. Our relationship with Christ is based on faith alone, apart from works—yet true faith naturally produces good works.
